PARENT & PLAYER CONDUCT

2024 Contract for Parent and Player

 

Rize Up Youth Sports has standards that must be followed to participate in this program.

RESPECT IS THE FIRST RULE, ACEDEMICS, ATTEDANCE, APPERANCE, HEALTHY EATING HABITS, RESPECTING THE OFFICIALS, SPORTSMANSHIP, TEAMWORK, ADJUSTMENTS AND PLAYING TIME.

We will represent RIZE UP YOUTH SPORTS and OUR families at its highest levels while at tournaments.

I will play with Rize Up and Rize Up Only from Feb – May 2024 _________________ dismissed if violated.

I will take responsibility for my Grades at school by maintaining a C average. ___________________

I will take responsibility for my Conduct at School (ISS or Suspensions) will be 2 game suspension for player  _______dismissed if violated.

I will be coachable in games and practices. I will take responsibility for my actions on or off the floor. _________________dismissed if violated.

I will be at practice (Miss two practices in a week will result in less playing time at tournaments) _______

I am responsible for ______________________________BEING ON time (Parents)____________________

I will work hard, respect my teammates, and play as one. _______________

I will NOT GET EJECTED from a Game (if so, it will result in 1 game player suspension) ____________________

 

Influence my child to abide by the contract he/ she has signed or initialed. Discuss the issues regarding poor academics and bad attitudes of the coaches as soon as possible. Transportation from practices and games will be my responsibility, not the coaches or other parents unless it has been discussed or communicated. Cooperate by helping with coaching, fundraising, concession, volunteering, stand duties, etc.. Parents please be patient with your coaches who are not giving your child the playing time YOU FEEL he/ she deserves.  We will make adjustments.

I understand that if I play on this team, I will agree to abide by these expectations described on this sheet. I PROMISE I will represent this program. ___________________________________

2024  TOURNAMENTS

​Each team will be scheduled to play a total of 5 AAU tournaments and have OFF Weeks. Championship locations will be determined by highest seed from the weekend. Sunday afternoons championship round. All games will be played within a 1hr 45-mile radius of middle Tennessee. Games can be moved to another location only if the weather condition or etc.. *Week of March 25 - 29, 2024  (Spring Break)  Summer league starts in June 2024 register online.

  • All Practices 8-10th Grades will be held at Siegel HS Sunday & Wednesday 6pm -8pm TBA

  • All Practices 4-7th Grade will be held at Kittrell Elementary School Tuesday & Thursday 6pm -7:30pm Starting at end of March and Patterson Park Community Center Saturdays 5pm -7pm March 2, 9, 

  • All Queens Practices will be held at Patterson Park Community Center on Saturday 5pm - 7p

  • We will also practice at Rogers Park outside as the weather changes.
